Ken Wayne Shamrock was born on February 11th,1964.He was born in Macon, Georgia, USA. Shamrock started out as a wrestler and fought in the UWF but it was later dismantled, forcing him to look for another league to fight in. UFC was the league that Shamrock was looking for and he agreed to fight in the first UFC tournament. In UFC1 Ken would go face to face agaisnt one of the most notorious fighters in the UFC, Royce Gracie. It was a good tilt but one fighter had to win and on this day it would not be Shamrock; however, Shamrock would get revenge against Gracie in 2005. The fight would end in a draw and leave Shamrock with a taste of dissatisfaction
At UFC 45 Ken Shamrock and his long time rival Royce Gracie were inducted to the Halll of Fame by the UFC's president Dana White. Ken would continue to fight in the UFC with large amounts of success until 2007, when his contract was released from the UFC after Dana White had got in an argument with Shamrock. A fan favorite who was always known for his thunderous blows and unparalleled locks defiantly deserves his place in the UFC hall of Fame.
